I haven't been around here at all lately. Can't even blame it on a high course-load, either. I've been putting my life into perspective. A few years ago I gained about 40lbs for some unknown reason. Could've been the meds, could've been that my burger/ice cream loving ways just plainly caught up with me? Whatever the reason, it's on my ass now and I can't stand it any longer.
My folks have (or should I say had?) a treadmill collecting dust in the shop. I cleared room and brought it up to "the cave" (see dictionary under 'boudoir'). I'm ready. I have my small weight for beginers arm strength training, the treadmill for cardio, a skipping rope to keep the cardio interesting... what more could I possibly need to get started?
The plan is this: 6:30am is my normal wake up time on Tuesday's and Thursday's for school, I'll make that my normal wake up every day of the week and on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's I'll work out before getting ready for work. Tue's and Thur's will be my days off, since I get a bit of excirsize walking the campus.
As for food, I'm going to make myself cut down on the carbs. Ice cream is killing me lately, I can eat a 2 liter in 3 days. I'm not going to cut everything out, though, I've never been one to deny myself and if I did, I don't think I'd be able to go through with all this.
Pray for me, I'll need it ,o)
